| 今日の復習をしてみよう。 ＜イディオムの授業編＞ I did a line of blow. (n) Blow = cocaine. I'm in a bind. (v) To be in a bind = in a situation when the solution is difficult. I'm cheating on my girlfriend. (v) To cheat on someone = to have an affair on your lover. He gives me the creeps. (n) Creep = a strange person who makes you feel uncomfortable or afraid. Can I crash (out)? (v) To crash = to sleep somewhere other your home. I'm pissed. P.O.'d (adj) Pissed = angry(Canada and US), drunk(only Canada) I'm pissed(off). because my girlfriend is cheating on me, and my friend won't let me crash at his apartment. I'm in a bind. I don't know where I can go. |
